  1. Golghar
  • Round House of Patna, Bihar, it is actually a granary in the form of Stupa in the Gandhi Maidan. It was designed by Captain John Garstin of East India Company, Bengal Army during the late 1700s.

2. Takht Sri Patna Sahib or Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara

  • It was constructed under the rule of the first Maharaja of Sikh Empire, Ranjit Singh. Takht Sri Patna Sahib is one of the many Gurdwaras built by him, dedicated to the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh.

3. Sangi Masjid

  • Built by the son of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, Parvez Shah, it is also known as the Saif Khan’s Mosque, Chimmi Ghat Mosque and Pathar Ki Mosque. It is established on the banks of Ganges near Patna Sahib Gurudwara.

4. Padri Ki Haveli (Mansion of Padre)

  • The Oldest Church in Patna, Bihar, was first built as a small religious place after Roman Catholics reached the State back in the 1700s. Destroyed many times, it is today an architectural wonder of India.

5. Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan (Sanjay Gandhi Botanical & Zoological Garden)

  • It is the Zoo of Patna, first established as a botanical garden in the middle 1900s. It is a cherished picnic-spot of Patna, Bihar.

  • Made to celebrate 2554th Birthday of Gautama Buddha, it is developed by the Government of Bihar. Do get your selfie with the 2-Bodhi Trees that flank Buddha Statue, planted by Dalai Lama.
